About Hudson River Antiques
Hudson River Antiques is a two-location destination for thoughtfully sourced furniture, lighting, art, and objects—rooted in the stories and craftsmanship of the Hudson Valley.
Rhinebeck: Our Original Home
Founded in Rhinebeck, NY, the shop built its reputation on careful curation, fair guidance, and a constantly changing floor. It remains the heartbeat of our brand: a welcoming space to explore eras from Federal through Mid-Century and discover pieces that live beautifully in modern homes.
Highland: A Collaborative New Chapter
Our new Highland, NY, pop-up location is a combined venture by Dolly Decker and Charles Glasner (original owner of the Rhinebeck shop). Together, they bring deep expertise and a complementary eye—pairing provenance and condition with style and livability. The result is a fresh, rotating mix of finds with Hudson River soul.
What Guides Us

Whether you’re downsizing, settling an estate, or curious about a family piece, we’re here to help—warmly, clearly, and without pressure.
At this time, we are not accepting consignment items. We’ll update this page if that changes.
We’re happy to appraise individual items or small collections. Bring photos or stop by the shop for a conversation. For larger groups or on-site needs, we can schedule a house call. You’ll receive straightforward guidance, estimated values, and next-step options.
From single pieces to whole-home discoveries, we support estate downsizing with care and discretion. We can evaluate what’s saleable, suggest the best-selling path, and coordinate the purchase of items we’re seeking. When needed, we’ll refer trusted partners for full estate sales and logistics.
We actively purchase items that fit our shop’s focus. If you have something special, share photos and a brief description—age, dimensions, condition, and any known history. We’ll let you know quickly if it’s a fit and arrange an in-shop review or visit.
Tell us what you’re hunting for—style, dimensions, budget—and we’ll keep an eye out as we source. When the right piece appears, we’ll reach out.
We aim to make the process simple and respectful—clear communication, fair offers, and thoughtful guidance, whether you choose to sell to us or pursue another path.
Stop by our Highland shop for a friendly, no-obligation conversation or send us an email.
